| Andy Jones is a well-established, award winning professional photographer based in Ashford, Kent, GB, covering Kent and the South East area of England. Andy adopts a relaxed and friendly approach to his work and strives to produce striking and creative images suitable for his client's needs. Andy has been working as a regional Press and PR Photographer in the South East of England since early 2005. Andy started out by working as a Freelance Photographer, supplying images to the local media and PR agencies in Kent and beyond. In 2005 Andy secured the position of Staff Photographer for Kent Regional News & Media, shooting for award-winning titles such as the Folkestone Herald & Dover Express. During this time Andy covered a multitude of events throughout Kent and further afield, including numerous Royal Visits, World Superbikes, Twenty 20 Cricket Finals to mention a few. In 2015 Andy was named Kent Press Photographer of the Year 2015 in the Kent Press & Broadcast Awards hosted by Maxim PR. In 2016 Andy returned to working as a Freelance Photographer and now covers PR, Press, Sports, Editorial & Commercial photography for many clients throughout Kent, London & across The South East of England. Andy was again awarded Kent Press Photographer of the Year 2017 and then Kent Photographer of the Year 2020 at the Kent Press & Broadcast Awards for his press work taken whilst working as a Freelance Photographer for the Kent Messenger Group.
